His early start
At the age of eight .Cristiano Ronaldo played for the amateur club Andorinha, where his father was the team's coach. In 1994 Ronaldo signed with local club Nacional Madeira, although Porto and Boavista wanted to sign him but his father refused, because he is still a young man. All the clubs that dealt with him admired his talent for his age as well as the maturity of his mind and lack of recklessness. After winning the title, he went on to test for three days at Sporting Lisbon, and after his success in testing, they signed a contract for an undisclosed sum.
